ABOUT US
NDHCRI is a non-profit company that provides quality improvement expertise and services through contracts with federal and state governments, research and granting entities, foundation and corporate grants, and other payors. Through a contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, NDHCRI serves as North Dakota's Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO).
HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
As the QIO for North Dakota, NDHCRI works with many sectors of the health care system. Through health care quality improvement, NDHCRI offers physicians, hospitals, and nursing homes the opportunity to participate in structured quality improvement projects to improve the delivery and quality of care provided to the people of North Dakota.
MEDICARE CONSUMERS
NDHCRI's Medicare consumer services include providing information concerning Medicare rights and responsibilities, reviewing of the quality of care provided to Medicare patients in North Dakota, and assisting people with Medicare to appeal if they feel they are being asked to leave the hospital too soon. We also can direct them to information to learn ways to stay healthy.
